Hanuk Khan

Just a quick update to say that I missed Jude Law and Brad Pitt and Shah Ruk Khan in London premieres the past weeks for being so well informed, and that yesterday i passed an audition for a Bollywood Dance Company!!!

I just saw an ad in the internet and went to try.. and passed it! I was very nervous because we were 5 girls and the girl director said she only wanted 2 without saying who.
So we had to dance 3 times the same dance with our male partners ( yes, and i'm not used to it, and it feels weird to just let your body fall and expect he's gonna catch you) and everytme she said we were'nt putting our heart into it, and we could do better ( while i was breathless everytime at the end...)

Anyway finnally she said she took me and it felt a little big like big broher, being nominated and all XD

And today all my body aches, and had to buy warm strips to calm my musles XD

Friday I'm in love: The Hives gig with Jare and Jarri ( flimsss) and my sis again!!! Yay!!!!!

It's my party and I'll laug if I want to!

Hello There!!!!

Ok so this has been a week!

On the weekend (last weekend) I went back home for my sis 18th birthday ( my baby has grown up!) and it was nice but 2 days wasn't enough to see everybody and do everything I wanted to do!

Then when I came back someone from a french online newspaper I had written for last year contcated me and asked me to go to an exposition about ... SEX

So there I went, and after seeing stuatues, drawings, pictures, videos about ...SEX i had to write a review, the funny thing is that i sent the article to my father so he could correct my french errors XD

Thursday was karaoke again

and we sang It's my party, What you're waiting, Summer nights (grease) and of course Girls just wanna have fun. Great.

And on Friday I got invited by a brazilian girl, Fernanda, to a Halloween party in an international-student house.

It was like going back to my erasmus, i wouldn't mind repeating!!
I wished I live with so many nice people, i'd have lots of cool friends!

Today I went with Fernanda and Carolina ( see the witch above) to Brick Lane market and later to Rough Trade records. There was a basket with cds for 2 pounds i got Innocence is the First Casuality by Antiflag and a cd from Dirt Bike Annie wich are really cool!

The fax Girl

Today I got promoted.

I work in a salad restaurant called Vital Ingredients, and i have my beautiful uniform with a T-shirt size M for men so i look lovely ( i'll upload a pic one of these days).

The manager wants me to deal with the faxes that come from different companies ordering salads, juices and soups. I don't have to make the salads but i have to control that the soups and the juices are done, then enter all the items and print the receipt twice.
When the guy/girl comes to pick the command I control that everything is fine and ask for the money.

Of course it's not that big deal you would think, but when there's 20 people queing, all the tills are occupied and you have 4 or 5 different bags, from different companies, with some soups/salads/juices missing and then this person comes to pick up the command you would like to vanish really!!

Anyway, my job is not that bad. I mean, it's tiring and a little bit boring but it's just 4 hours and my colleagues are ok. It's kind of weird cause we are divided between the Spanish speaking ( 3 colombians, i bolivian, 1 mexican, 1 spanish) and portuguese speaking ( 8 brazilians) and the manager who is from east Europe ( no idea which country but i think ex URSS). Isn't it a little bit weird??

Bad things about my job:
- I'm a cashier ( I mean so thrilling really)
- Sometimes the BIG BOSS comes and he is absolutely unbearable
- The rush hour is veery stressing
- The soups are very hot and I got burned several times

Good things about my job:
- I got free salad
- When no ones looking i got free soup, juices, free smoothies, free crisps, free chocolates ( but this only once i dared)
- The shift obviously 12 -4 pm
- I get to see 1 or 2 hot guys every day
- I get paid

Sugary Friday

I know it's not Friday,

it's Wednesday 26 th september. 4 weeks since my London adventure began today. yeeheeeeeeee!!!!!!

on Monday I started working in Vital Ingredients, it was good cause they changed me of position ( i'm not doing salads but being a cashier) and also of shop so it's not that busy.

Ok, so why the fricking sugary friday Topic anyway???

Yesterday i phoned to get the National Insurance Number. Don't ask me exacy what it is but I think I need it to work so n'en parlons plus. During the interesting 3 pounds conversation I had with the lady that had to take all my details, there was a , comment dire, sweety moment. I was spelling my surname wich has an S followed by an F and the lady said: "It's S for Sugar or F for friday???"

I never used such day to day words to spell anything! I think we should use lovely words like sugar, baby, honey, party, strawberry, eye, wig etc.

What is my surprise today when looking around Facebook London network i found a collection of communities that suited me incrdibly, so I had to join hem:

- I Am Fluent in Sarcasm
- I Use my Cell Phone to See in the Dark
- I FLIP MY PILLOW OVER TO GET TO THE COLD SIDE

And above all:

The World is a Handkerchief!!!

Oh well well,

things seem to be turning on again!!

Monday was definitely a bad day, i got rejected at 2 different banks and i felt a completely slave in the Agency I'm doing a work experience placement at. I though it would give me a insight into event organisation but instead I'm just sent to post posters and put flyers into shops.

Luckily yesterday I turned the situation upside down, and instead of spending all the office hours flyering I prefered to jump into some Barcelona friends in the heart of London ( you know London is soo small!!!).

So off we went to Trafalgar Square, where we met this Lomo meeting, and as none of us goes out without our camera we took some very serious pics:

Anyway Mr Lloyds has let me open a british account today, and I got a job interview for vital ingredients so maybe tomorrow I'll have a job!! yeah yeah yeah
